Well, I haven't personally measured it...but I have conflicting info.  In
some places it says 1200 and some others say 1270.  1270 would be
arithmetically correct if the 2:1 resolution was 5080, the 1:1 was 2740,
that would make the 1:2 1270...so it's at least 1200 I can safely say.

I was certainly impressed with what you were able to get out of your 1640
(and "that" lense ;-), and if you really want to do a comparison, I'm
certainly game.
