Dear All,

I am hoping to buy a Film Scanner in the region of about £500 to scan Black
and White negatives which is easy to use but gives a quality result.

I have actually tried a Minolta for about £300 and wasn't very impressed.
The Nikon Coolscan 4 ED seems the obvious choice but I have read rather a
bad review of its more expensive counterpart.

Does anyone have any experience of B & W scanning and advice as to the best
machine for that?

Thank you for any help with this.

Marco.
