[filmscanners] Re: Noise in Polaroid SS 4000 scans



I'm still trying to get a good copy of that tiff file to see it better,
but I believe it is grain from what I have seen.  I'd actually like to
see a small section (maybe a 1/4" square piece at 100% at 4000 dpi and
completely uncompressed to evaluate it better.  A mixture of
underexposure, and push or incorrect processing might lead to this kind
of grain.
