[filmscanners] Re: Focusing on SS4000



Hi Howard....

I'm using vuescan with a mac (OS9) on the firewire with no problems, but it
does require the removal of the polaroid extensions in order to function. I
don't really use it that often, since I've mastered silverfast (with C41
negatives), except with those pesky soft focus scans...otherwise an
excellent scanner. I just wish the focusing algorithm was as good as
Hamricks'.
