Hi Les:

Here's a little secret-I didn't invent the idea, but it works very
well with the 1680. Buy the heavy magnetic register covers at home
depot.

Have a mat cutter cut a few square holes through both to allow for
your negs to fit comfortably. Sandwich your negs between the
magnets-perfectly flat and clean!

You might need to mount a thin mat to the outside of one or both
magnets so that the thickness matches that of the 2450 neg. holder.
