Rather than doing everything in one package or another, have you tried
producing a raw
scan from Vuescan and processing it in Silverfast HRD or, alternatively,
producing a raw
scan from Insight and processing it using Vuescan? I'm not sure if Silverfast
can
produce raw scans but, if it can, it might be worth trying with Vuescan as well.

Doesn't Silverfast use an IT8 calibration slide as part of its setup? If so,
the raw
scans produced by Vuescan, Insight and Silverfast are all likely to be subtly
different.

Depending on where in the process the colour casts are being introduced, one of
the
combinations might produce an acceptable scan.
