Well, here
 on the market among hundred of kinds of pens only the oi
l-based is clearly marked CD-R/DVD-R applicable. I believ
e China is the main exporter of such products, many weste
rn brands are actually made in China.

I've been using
it for years (from a Ricoh 2x recorder) w/o any problem,
everyone here use this type. Sorry but I don't know the c
hemical of it.

Hey it's very cheap here, for someone's
 US$5 you can get a dozen plus...
