IMHO, a major advantage of Polaroid's DSR is that you can run it from
Photoshop on a selection. I also enjoy a lot the standalone
application's feature for manually tweaking the defect mask. AFAIK all
software solutions for dust removal can be fooled by various statistical
"anomalies" of the scans. E.g.: small snow patches on tree branches
might look like defects on a negative scan.
Does Lasersoft's dust removal software allow some manual adjustments?
