I have not decided what to try next on my CRT, after noticing Sony's warning
against using "anti-static" products.  I have some Kodak lens cleaner, so
maybe I will try that.  I'll save the Klear Screen stuff for our LCD
screens, since it does not seem to cause clouding on those.

Lens cleaning solutions.... either photo lenses or soft contact-lens
solutions...?
