To use the Nikon software, you may need to install Adaptec's ASPI layer
(... you should be able to find a XP compatible version at the Adaptec
wwwsite...). If you want to use Vuescan, check Ed's wwwsite
...<www.hamrick.com>..., it seems to me there specific issues for XP
behaviours, but it's a simple fix. In the end, your Coolscan will work.
