I realize that Ed Hamrick's software does a wonderful job, but on some
occasions his upgrades are screwed up in some way or other.

Right now I have Version 7.5.44.

I am trying to calibrate my scanner using a full frame shot of a gray
card taken on Fuji 400 color film with green dashes and magenta dashes.

Cropping my preview scans really messes up the color, and the final
scan/histogram looks nothing like the cropped preview.

Can someone recommend a version of Vuescan that they have found to work
satisfactorily with the FS4000US.
If so can you e-mail the .exe file as an attachment to your response.

Thanks, John.
