[filmscanners] Re: film scanners, addition

I have a 4000 Plus connected to a G4 Mac and use it extensively to scan
color transparencies with the (supplied) SilverFast 5 software. I do raw
scans at 4000 dpi for archival purposes and work on copies of these
scans in PhotoShop.

And even though I'm quite new to this business (although a long time
professional Cibachrome printer), I have nevertheless gotten uniformly
excellent results with the 4000 Plus.

I'm grateful that I took Arthur Entlich's (and others') advise and got
this excellant Polaroid machine.
