[filmscanners] RE: Polaroid Sprintscan 4000 problems

You didn't give much detail, only that you have plenty of ram and disk, but
what platform are you on, what version of what OS, etc.

Having asked that I would seriously suggest that you consider VueScan. I
use it with my SS4000 and prefer it over Insight and Silverfast. You might
also go on the Polaroid website to see if they have any updates to Insight
that you can install.

Subject: [filmscanners] Polaroid Sprintscan 4000 problems

Can anyone advise, or point me in the right direction regarding a problem
with a Polaroid sprintscan 4000. I have plenty of RAM, and diskspace, but
the software (Insight ver 5.0) is very unstable, and usually crashes every
second scan.

Many thanks,

Brian Boggenpoel.
