[filmscanners] RE: 3 year wait

I scanned all my slides using an LS-2000 and slide feeder. This took quite a
while, would not have been feasible without the feeder (about 12,000
slides).

My purpose of scanning all images was not archiving but rather a
quick-access inventory. I did limit the resolution to 1350 dpi, but this
will suffice for smaller prints like 4x6". It is now very easy for me to put
together slide shows using a laptop and an LCD projector. And I can always
rescan the original for larger prints.
