[filmscanners] RE: X rays was Digital PIC



Good idea!

Seems to me that some years ago some film company did this but I can't
remember who.  It wasn't Kodak or Fuji, that I know, but it was before dx
coding (am I showing my age???).

Why don't the film manufacturers ship their products in plastic cans
rather than metal?  Then we could stuff the film in our pockets and walk
through the airport magnetometers.  I'm assuming that the DX codes could
be provided on a thin foil too thin to set off the alarms.
