[filmscanners] RE: LS 2000 running slow

My LS-40ED, running with the latest version of VS, on a Crusoe 633Mhz
laptop running XP with 128Mb of ram manages to scan a 35mm negative at
2900dpi - and save it as a jpeg - in a good deal under 7 minutes
(usually around 5).
