[filmscanners] Re: SS120 vs Nik8000

What's the scoop with the Polaroid rebate on the SS120? I see references
to it (USD$300) on a few sites, but don't see anything on the polaroid site.
Is this already integrated into the price?

i.e..:

Is $2499 here:
http://www.pcmall.com/pcmall/shop/detail.asp?DPNo=957565&adcampaign=email,zw
b13516
with the rebate?

Thanks,

Ryan

Ryan,
Users are currently using the SS120 to scan 6 x 17. If you place the film in
the holder and scan 6x9 image 1 and 6x9 image 2 they can then be easily put
together in Photoshop.
In mid February we will be shipping a glass holder which along with a new
version of Silverfast will be able to scan and stitch a 6 x 17.
Regards
David
