I just released VueScan 7.3.7 for Windows, Mac OS 8/9/X
and Linux.  It can be downloaded from:

What's new in version 7.3.7

  * Significantly improved speed of scanning by updating display
    and writing files at the same time
  * Reduced flicker when scrolling zoomed image
  * Fixed problem with zooming on Linux
  * Fixed problem using "Device|Auto scan" with "Device|Lock image color"
