I think it's the web interface to my email account.  This email is from
Outlook Express and hasn't added an extra "re:".  It's the web interface
which is also guilty of putting all the ISO character garbage into the
message which makes the subject line unreadable in the Digest format.
Unfortunately I have no control over these aspects of the web interface.

I had the impression it was the majordomo which was causing multiple
"filmscanners:" to appear.  Tony added this feature when people complained
that they wanted an easier way to spot list messages by subject. Adding the
word "filmscanners" multiple times is the worst offender from the messages
I've seen.
