filmscanners: ViewScan raw File

What user setting changes, if any, alter the color values (data) in the
ViewScan RAW file?

If I go with an initial work flow of making a bunch of raw files, and then
post-process from them later, what initial settings would I want to look at
to produce the most useful RAW file? Or, is it the case that except for bit
depth, number of passes, and altered CCD exposure time, nothing else affects
the data in the RAW file?

Thanks,

Joel Rittvo
