About a year ago I bought two 21" monitors: the top of the line Sony 
GDMF500R, and the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2040u.  I have been 
extremely pleased with the Mitsubishi and very disappointed in the 
Sony (it's highly unlikely I'll ever buy that brand of monitor 
again!).  I think the current equivalent to the Mitsubishi I bought 
is model 2060u.
