This link is worth reading. It clearly states that Polaroid will focus only
on its core 'instant imaging' products and sell, or shut down, non-core
businesses.

Personally, I would believe scanners are non-core, but clearly it isn't my
call (although I'd love to be a fly on the wall during those discussions)
