I'll have to check how this is implemented in Nikonscan.  I didn't know the
feature existed.  I've been using a filename like 20010701_0101 and Vuescan
automatically increments the last two digits.  Depending on how the
incrementing
is implemented, it could affect the ordering of files in the direcory lists.
