Similar, the Leica CL. Pretty, a dodgy meter and rotten ergonomics. The
shutter wheel had a habit of breaking off too, though mine didn't. The
Minolta version was superior in minor respects but went on to be developed
further and became the much better model.
I had a CL for several years, eventually sacrificed to pay an Inland
Revenue bill. Without much regret, I have to say. Although it was a nice
enough camera I never really felt at home with it, and it was nothing like
an M series in use. I far preferred the ancient M2 I owned previously,
until that was stolen.
