Yes I did. In addition to your suggestion of "1.0" I tried also   with
exposure 0.5 and 0.1. using single scans and multi scans. In some
exposures I loose all the stars (due to shortness of exposure or due to
elevated "noise"), but I don't seem to get rid of the ghosts, so that I
can still see the stars. Maybe I should spend more time exploring the
available parameter space.
