filmscanners: Vuescan effects on system?
Does installing Vuescan have any effect on my Mac/NEC/Scan Dual II/PS-LE
system when I am not using Vuescan, but using the Scan Dual II software?
One thing that puzzled me, not necessarily related to the above question--I
wouldn't know--is that when I installed Vuescan it asked me to select 1.8 or
2.2 gamma. I selected 1.8 since I am using a Mac. Was that the right
choice?
I was getting prints that matched my monitor image very closely until
lately. I don't know what happened, but I did install Vuescan. But it may
have nothing at all to do with that.
