Re: filmscanners: Q60

I asked them to send by U.S. mail and the lady said she would, but she
shipped by either FedEx 2d day or UPS (I don't recall anymore) anyway.

But shipping was only $3.00, and sales tax of $3.62 was imposed for a total
of $64.62 for two (2) Q-60 targets - one 5X7 paper and one Ektachrome. I'm
in a Chicago suburb.

They must have charged for and sent by FedEx priority to you.

| When buying a Q60 direct from Kodak it's important to consider packing and
| shipping costs. I forget how much it was, but it was breathtaking ($20
maybe?
| and Rochester to Pittsburgh isn't all that far). It came FedEx next
morning,
| and it was packaged well enough to withstand the blast from a medium-yield
| nuclear device, but since that doesn't happen very often I would have
preferred
| to save some money and have them use a padded envelope. They didn't give
me
| any options, though.
