RE: filmscanners: Kodak RFS 3600

I am also running Win ME, and I average about 2 mins per scan on a home
built AMD K6II 450.

One of the biggest problems will be if you need support. A friend of mine
had to
call them several times for his RFS 3600 and they really did not supply much
help.

Part of the problem may have been due to the ME Windows he was running. He
had
nothing but problems. Also, the scans were on the order of 3 to 4 minutes;
this
on a brand new Dell.

He ended up having to send it back to Kodak. He is going to buy the Nikon.
