вопрос worker_rlimit_nofile, rlimit

Подскажите плз...

в конфиге следующее:
worker_rlimit_nofile  8192;

events {
    worker_connections  8192;
    use  /dev/poll;
}

но при этом
[root@snake nginx]# pfiles `pgrep nginx` | grep rlimit
  Current rlimit: 256 file descriptors
  Current rlimit: 256 file descriptors
  Current rlimit: 256 file descriptors
  Current rlimit: 256 file descriptors
  Current rlimit: 256 file descriptors
  Current rlimit: 256 file descriptors
  Current rlimit: 256 file descriptors

Так и должно быть?
