Интересное письмо на меня только что свалилось. Самое смешное, что я
не понял повода. Т.е. этого самого гуарда у нас и нету и нафиг он нам
не сдавался. Пока я их вежливо послал, со словами -- покажите URL, где
нашли и ваще, в России вас не стояло и цитатой из кэмбриджского словаря
на слово Vanguard. А может это новая мода спамить
пошла? Письмо не запрошено, ссылка на сайт есть, коммерческий продукт
выпускает... С другой стороны, зачем такую мелочь по карманам тырить
такой фирме?

Hello. My name is Matthew Walker. I am writing to you from the Intellectual
Property and Technology unit at The Vanguard Group, Inc. ("Vanguard"). It has
come to my attention that your website, at www.convey.ru, is using the word
"Vanguard Group" as hidden text. As you probably know, "hidden text" is white
on white (or similar) text or hidden text in HTML code on a web page that is
normally invisible to the viewer but can be read by an internet search engine
when scanning websites.
Vanguard is the registered owner of a variety of trademarks and service marks,
including "Vanguard" and "The Vanguard Group" in the United States and
elsewhere. Vanguard does not permit the use of its trademarks or trade names,
or variations on those trademarks or trade names, as hidden text on websites
owned or operated by others without Vanguard

I am not aware that you have a legitimate interest in or business purpose for
the words "Vanguard Group." Nor has Vanguard authorized you to use the words
"Vanguard Group" as hidden text on your website. Without such authorization,
Vanguard considers your use of the words "Vanguard Group" as hidden text to be
an infringement of Vanguard?s valuable trademark rights. Furthermore, Vanguard
does not want to be associated in any way with the sort of content appearing on
your site.
Furthermore, I suspect that you are using the words "Vanguard Group" as hidden
text for an improper purpose. Users of the internet, reliant upon their search
engines to tell them where to locate our website, www.vanguard.com, may be
improperly detoured to your website. Such diversion of internet traffic is
improper.
Accordingly, we ask that you immediately remove the words "Vanguard Group" from
the hidden text on your website and refrain from using such as hidden text in
the future. Perhaps there is a web developer or technical contact in charge of
your site who would be able to modify the hidden text on your website.
Please let me know when we might expect this modification to your website.
