Виксевский ящик сделан действительно для dialup-a
Он фильтрует в обе стороны и довольно жестко - у него ограничение где-то
на 30-50 www за ним и ни для чего другого непригоден.
Почему они с киской и спелись.
А во-вторых, у кого там T1? :-)
На Е1 полностью кешируемом я сам тебя сегодня откажусь сажать на transparent -
ты меня за сумасшедшего не выставляй.
Пока это смысла не имеет, но ненадолго.
Я вижу, что идет жонглирование понятий - правомерно было бы сравнивать с указанным
примером, если бы мы применяли повальное кэширование.
Кэшируется только зарубежный трафик - по запросу отключается.
Сравнивать же с mirror image solution - это в принципе неверно.
Он кэширует в обе стороны и весьма ограничен.
А основа идеи в том, что он подключается к ближайшему Терабайтному миррору,
содержимое которого формируется по своим алгоритмам.
Сейчас они наставили этих Мирроров по основным IXs и NAP
Деньги получают за сервис.
А привязывают к ним кого-угодно - см. ту же самую дискуссию, она с этого и началась
Кэширование - в первую очередь, не средство экономии полосы, а улучшение времени реакции.
Экономия возникнет существенная только при мультикастовой принудительной накачке кэша,
чего пока нет.
