[filmscanners] financing an Imacon (was RE: slide scanner - Plustek OpticFilm 7200i)



Has anyone tried financing an Imacon by using it 
to scan others' film, presumably mostly 
medium-format? Where I live, I don't think I'd 
get much business, but it wouldn't take much to 
encourage me to try.

Did you mean to say 5000 dollars, instead of 
pounds, Chris, or is that just here in the 
States? I haven't looked hard, but I think I saw 
the least of the Imacon's at B&H for $5000, new. 
Maybe I could finance one by bringing them back 
over for re-sale?  8)
