I can agree with a lot of what you said, but from reports I've heard
from the generals, our bombing has "destroyed" 50% of the Republican
Guard in the last couple days. By my reconning that's a kill of about
150,000 people, or enemy notwithstanding. Even Saddam isn't that
efficient at reducing the local population. We're far better at it than
he is. Fortunately we don't use weapons of mass destruction (that's
supposed to be a joke).
