[filmscanners] Re: keeping the 16bit scans



Art,

You do NOT need to do that anymore if you are using XP Pro. I only reboot
now when a Windows update or program installation/uninstallation requires
it. Between times I do shut down the computer each night, but I use the
hibernate function which gives extremely quick restarting where one left off
working, without the normal rebooting procedures.
