[filmscanners] RE: SS4000 Slide holders/won't scan last slide

Are those four "dials" the manufacture date? (one of them would have 99, 00,
etc.) If so, what is the date that appears on yours? My scanner has those
dating symbols on the inside of the front door cover (indicating April 1999)
but none on the slide holder (which works fine and hasn't broken.

Stan

.

Take a look at your slideholders. On the bottom there is a recycling sysbol
with the letters "AES" enclosed. Around the symbol should be four dials
which indicate information about the molding process. If your slideholders
do NOT have these dials they are suspect. The bad one that I had and
returned to Polaroid did not have these dials and did not function
correctly. The holders I have now DO have these dials and work fine. The
holders being sold on eBay for $5 DO have these dials.

Good luck...

Tom
