[filmscanners] OT: 137 GB limit for Firewire HDs?

I saw in the net an external FireWire HD from LaCie (200 GB, 7200 rpm) that
would be very useful for me as a removable storage and for DV if I can use
the all capacity in my computer (P4, motherboard ASUS P4T-E -- socket
478 --, FireWire/USB 2.0 adaptor card, Win 2000 Professional). During my
homework I got the impression that this HD would not be limited by the 137
GB ATA limit nor by BIOS limits. Is this correct?

Anybody knows the brandt of the HDs inside the box?

TIA and best regards,

Mario Teixeira
