My SS4000 has worked fine doing scans at full resolution.
I was experimenting with different scanning resolutions. I am using
Polacolor 5.5 software. When I scan a 35mm slide at 3600 instead of 4000, I
am seeing remarkable light colored bands, evenly spaced, running
horizontally across a vertically oriented image.
Are there settings that this scanner can't use?
