[filmscanners] RE: SS4000 fixes to improve quality--dust removal

Wise words.

My interest was triggered by an early comment mentioning that dust removal
caused a significant improvement in scanned image quality. I am not sure
what I would see in the scanned image to tell me it's mirror dust degrading
the image.

The more I think about this, the more it sounds like a "if it ain't broke"
situation.

So, unless this dust is visibly degrading the image at this point (after
your air cleaning process) only then would I even pursue it further, and
then only with some good advice.
