[filmscanners] RE: Slightly, somewhat OT



Paul, I don't know where did you infer from about FireWire, but I was
talking about USB2.0 remote storage.
Contrary, my friend testing his FireWire device (similar to mine but run
though IEEE1394 instead of USB2.0) got full throughput (about 35-37 MB/s)
which means FierWire is fine delivering all it should to.
My USB2.0 appears to slow things down more then twice for some reason.

Well, I guess that means that the FireWire slows things down a bit, compared
to ATA/133.
