Nope, it's already 48 bit... meaning it's 16 bits per channnel.. so a
greyscale image will have only one channel of 16 bits... an RGB image will
have 3 channels of 16 each to add up to 48 bits...

Yup, under Color.... it's called "Brightness". You can set overall or for
RGB independently...

You may have to activate the Advanced option to view these settings....
