No, Anthony is referring to his extensive experience with the Nikon
LS-2000,which scans Portra very nicely.  I haven't scanned Portra 400BW on
the 8000ED yet.

Well , I use the newer Nikon 4000 scanner and I'm getting good results too -
although I havent tried the colour Portras on it.
