[filmscanners] RE: Vuescan processing/ saving times
My experience is nowhere like what you're reporting. I'm using a PIII, 1gz
with 512 ram. I'm not in front of my machine to test but typically my save
times of 16 bit scans of 35mm slides / negs are I would say never in excess
of 10 - 15 seconds. It's the fastest part of the process for me, though I
rarely save 'raw' scans.
