Fortunately not, but I got a series of "close calls" including bend,
squeezed and torn apart cardboard mounts. The SF-200S is not the
best of LS-4000ED but is the only choice for slide processing.

Personally I can not see anything in this adapter what would explain
scratches on the slides, unless it would jam somehow maybe.

What slide mounts are you using?
