Hello Ed,

maybe I am drunk or I keep asking you silly questions, but it appears that now 
the software works under Mac OS 9.2.1 and firewire connection; I try with the 
Microtek 8700 and a Silver G4 and the software is still not see/recognize the 
scanner; how come???
