filmscanners: Any experiences with the Epson 2450 anybody?

Hi Guys,

thinking of upgrading my epson 1640 su to the 2450. Two reasons for this:

#1 looks like it can scan 2 strips of 35mm film at a time from the size of
the light box (9x4 inch) - is this true? i cant be arsed to go into the
darkroom to do contact sheets

#2 Better scans of 120 films. the 1640 has real problems if you start using
very fast film, terrible scans. plus always been a little soft.

Anybody care to comment on any of the above being true?

Cheers
Ned
