filmscanners: Quantum Mechanic

Has anyone used Quantum Mechanic Pro or Lite,
(http://www.camerabits.com/QM2.html), who would care to comment on
their experiences, pro or con?

QM is described as a Photoshop plug-in which reduces noise
and artifacts in digital cameras (and scanned images). I downloaded
the trial version and tried it out, and while QM seems to do what it
says, I'm not sure after so few trials just how much it would benefit
different types of images.

I've also started searching for opinions on some of the
digital camera groups.

Regards,
Roger Smith
