I spent ages experimenting with test images, incl. the Q60, sundry other 
peoples' tests (eg Andrew Rodney's) and came to the conclusion that nothing 
was better than images of my own which I had worked on, knew what they 
looked like on screen. From there it was just iterative refinements - and 
still is. Basically skin tones are the toughest test.

I can see no way to be utterly precise as every attempt is undermined by 
metamerism, and I have no control over the lighting conditions. I have a 
daylight lamp, but the result is different under real daylight! Mostly 
they'll probably get viewed under fluorescent anyhow.

One thing : you have to leave prints for 30-60mins to dry completely before 
evaluating them.

It seems not, unless the driver sliders are really gamma adjustments.
