Re: filmscanners: Vuescan: long exposure pass

This may be a problem only on the LS-2000 and Minolta Dimage for now:

>From Ed's Help files:

"On the Nikon LS-2000 and the Minolta Dimage film scanners, this option
causes each scan line to be read N times before advancing to the next scan
line. On other scanners, the whole image is read N times."

Subject: filmscanners: Vuescan: long exposure pass

| An obsvervation for a "long exposure pass" while trying to capture
| all information in a generally backlit scene with snow ...
|
| ... my thinking being a long exposure pass with Vuescan v.6.7
| would scan as much detail possible with my LS-2000. However, I
| believe I've either captured a registration problem with pass1/pass2
| or a problem with Vuescan's implimentation.
| The physical scan is from right-to-left.

| Serious scrutiny awaits Ed's return ... but he might like more
| examples ...
