filmscanners: RE: scanning problem

I've had a medium format trannie scanned from a new local lab, specialising
in digital. First time I've used them. The scan was made with a Heidleberg
HiRes scanner. I've just looked at the trannie and it appears to be damaged.
It looks as if a patch of the galantine layer has come off. This was my best
medium format trannie and I don't have another one of this shot.

Does anyone know what could have caused this? I will have to go back and
have words with the lab.

Julie
